What is E-Publishing – Graphic Editing?
'Graphic Editing' encompasses the process of altering images, digital photographs and illustrations. Graphic software programs, which can be broadly grouped into vector graphics editors and raster graphics editors, are the primary tools with which a user manipulates, enhances and transforms the images.
There are two techniques for creating, storing and processing computer images:
- Raster graphics software such as Adobe Photoshop is more suitable for retouching, photo processing, photo-realistic illustrations and collage.
- Vector graphics software such as Adobe Illustrator is used to create and modify vector images.
